For years, Bris Avrohom of Fair Lawn has been searching for a solution to accommodate our growing community and ever expanding activities. Our greatest challange has been accomodating our dramatic growth. Our current space is bursting at the seams, and there's an urgent need for immediate expansion.

A rare opportunity has come up to purchase the property of the former Beth Sholom Congregation, conveniently located just down the road from our current Synagogue. This building will provide an immediate solution to our lack of space and will serve as a community center for our many events, holiday celebrations, Hebrew School, teen programs and a new preschool.

Our Current Planned Property

As you may be aware, we have been working on approval for a major expansion of our current Synagogue which we recently received the town's approval for.

However, now that this new opportunity has come up, the expansion of our current Synagogue will be on pause until we finalize the purchase and settle into the new building.

The town's approvals we received for the expansion of our Synagogue still stand, and we plan to proceed with that project in the near future.

Since our community needs an immediate solution to our lack of space, this purchase will give us the space we need immediately and will also serve as our synagogue during the construction phase.

Eventually, the needs of our community will be met with these two properties—one dedicated to community life, events, and education, while the other serves as a beautifully expanded synagogue and place for services.
